PERFORMANCE CHECKLIST FOR THE

SET-UP PROCEDURES

 1. Rotate the handle on the tank and remove the

cover.

 2. Examine the gasket on the tank cover and replace

it if it is worn.

 3. Unscrew and gently remove the rod / piston

assembly from the cylinder.

 4. Remove the cylinder from the tank and examine

the gasket located at the top of the cylinder and

replace if worn.

 5. Examine the cylinder check valve located at the

bottom of the cylinder. If worn, replace the check

valve.

 6. Examine the leather piston cup on the bottom of

the piston to ensure that it is still pliable and not

cracking. If necessary, lubricate the cup with a

small amount of oil (any type of oil will do: engine,

mineral, etc.).

 7. Return the cylinder to the tank with the extended

lip pointed toward the outer rim of the tank.
